Boxford Zoning Board approves two special permits, continues two cases pending Planning Board review. The Board unanimously approved a special permit for Eric B. Schultz and Susan W.
Schultz to build an accessory apartment and garage at 47B Sheffield Road, and granted a permit for two scoreboards at Cargill Field, conditioned on shutdown by 7:30 PM. Chair Ralph Nay voiced concerns about a blank panel on the scoreboard structure that could be used for advertising, and applicant Matt Wheeler agreed to explore alternatives such as permanent field naming or rotating team recognition. The Board continued Case 1080 (18 MacDonald Drive, Victor Palermo, detached garage with accessory dwelling unit) and Case 1081 (7 Endicott Road, Kathleen James, barn renovations for kennel operation) to April 23, pending Planning Board review.
