Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of February 26, 2026
Boxford Zoning Board approves in-law apartment, pauses two major cases. The board unanimously approved a special permit for an in-law apartment at 4 Moonpenny Drive for occupants Marc and Robin Duquette, totaling 998 square feet at 25 percent of the gross floor area allowed. Chair Ralph Nay, Vice Chair Thomas Jonak, and Clerk Garrett Friedman also unanimously approved a modification to a 2024 special permit for a garage at 68 Georgetown Road, allowing a design change from three dormers to one.
However, the board continued a Sheffield Road in-law apartment and garage project and a Boxford Little League scoreboard proposal to March 26, each requiring substantial plan revisions and clarifications on square footage, setbacks, and existing structural dimensions before proceeding to the Planning Board.
