Conservation Commission approves Boy Scout boardwalk, continues farm licenses.

Conservation Commission · Meeting of April 9, 2026

Boxford Conservation Commission approves Boy Scout boardwalk and defers farm-license decision. The five-member Commission voted unanimously to allow Oliver Deeks to build a 70-foot-by-30-inch plankway on the Ingaldsby trail, contingent on director approval at start of work. In a separate extended discussion, applicants for town agricultural fields at Anvil Farm, Cargill Field, and Haynes Field made competing pitches; the Commission voted to continue that decision to April 23 and requested a joint in-person meeting with the Agricultural Commission.

The Commission also issued an Amended Order of Conditions for an accessory dwelling unit at 18 MacDonald Drive and continued three applications for Masconomet Regional School District projects and one demolition-rebuild hearing.
