BOXFORD — Community Preservation Committee advances Barker Farm purchase and three town-meeting articles. CPC Agent Ross Povenmire and six members unanimously recommended a one-million-dollar warrant article for Boxford's share of the Essex County Greenbelt's acquisition of vulnerable farmland that will be reserved for future farmers under conservation restriction in perpetuity. The committee also backed a $25,000 appropriation for the Little Red Schoolhouse project (Chair Natasha Grigg abstaining) and a $32,000 allocation for Cole School Athletic Field rehabilitation.

A housekeeping article allocating $396,631 in FY 2027 revenues for debt service and administrative expenses and reserving $908,313 across community housing, historic, and open-space categories was approved unanimously.
