Community Preservation Committee accepts Holyoke French House preservation agreement

BOXFORD — The Community Preservation Committee unanimously approved a Historic Preservation Restriction Agreement for the Holyoke French House, which will be administered by the Boxford Historical Commission with public access guaranteed six days during the second and third quarters. The Committee scheduled a special meeting for March 31 to revisit the Little Red Schoolhouse project, requesting up to $25,000 in new CPC funds, and to continue deliberation on a $320,000 proposal to rehabilitate Cole School's Cargill Field, which contains contaminated soil requiring special remediation. The Committee also approved amended minutes from its February 10 meeting.
