Boxford Sets Aug. 20 Tabulator Test Before State Primary

Boxford will test ballot tabulators on Aug. 20 as part of the town's preparation for the Sept. 1 state primary, according to the town's official public events calendar.

The tabulator test, listed on the town's calendar for Thursday, Aug. 20, is the latest step in Boxford's run-up to the state primary. It follows the town's earlier announcement of five early in-person voting dates and its call for poll workers ahead of the election, moves the town's News Flash also covered this month.

Two town boards are also on the calendar this week: the Board of Health and the Planning Board are both scheduled to meet Wednesday, Aug. 19, at town hall, with specific agendas not yet posted.
