Boxford Select Board Schedules Retreat for July 27

BOXFORD —

The Select Board has set a retreat for Monday, July 27, adding a new item to a summer calendar already packed with committee meetings and community events, according to the town's public meetings calendar.

TOWN HALL

The Select Board Retreat is scheduled for Monday, July 27, giving board members dedicated time outside their regular meeting schedule, per the town's calendar listing. It comes as Boxford continues reviewing its FY27 proposed budget and capital plan, a process town hall has kept open for public review in recent weeks.

The retreat sits alongside a full slate of board activity this week. The Zoning Board of Appeals and the Conservation Commission are both scheduled to meet Thursday, July 23, and the Permanent Building Committee follows with a meeting Wednesday, July 29.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

Boxford Town Library has opened sign-ups for summer reading, extending the program beyond children's programming to include adult readers this year, according to the library's website. The library continues to point cardholders to its digital streaming offerings as part of its ongoing outreach to residents looking for at-home options over the summer.

COMING UP

The Zoning Board of Appeals and Conservation Commission both meet Thursday, July 23. Touch a Truck brings a hands-on family event to town Saturday, July 25. The same day, the Concert on the Lawn at the Holyoke-French House is set for 3:30 p.m. The Permanent Building Committee meets Wednesday, July 29.
