Boxford sales top $1 million as median price hits $1,058,000
Boxford recorded 14 property transfers between July 24 and Aug. 22, eight with disclosed prices ranging from $15,000 to $1,327,000 and a median of $1,058,000. The month's top sale was 39 Joseph Smith Lane Extension, Lot 5, which sold for $1,327,000, followed by 261 Ipswich Road at $1,240,000 and 12 Parish Lane at $1,155,000. Six of eight disclosed sales topped $1 million. Spofford Road saw two sales, ranging from $15,000 to $1,025,000. Five of the six transactions without disclosed prices were transfers within the same family or into a trust, a pattern visible in the deed data but not explained by it.
