Boxford Sales Roundup: Trust Transfers Outnumber Open-Market Deals as Top Sale Tops $1.8 Million
Essex County deed records show 15 Boxford property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only eight disclosed a sale price, ranging from $550,000 to $1,815,000 with a median of $1,114,000. The month's top transaction was 42 Lockwood Ln Lot 3, which sold for $1,815,000 on Aug. 31 from Brian J. Loder to Allison Govoni. Nearly half the recorded transfers, seven of 15, moved property between family members or into personal trusts without a disclosed price, including two parcels on Burning Bush Drive. The data shows a moderate volume of recorded activity but no basis to characterize the market as strong or weak beyond the raw figures reported.
