Boxford Posts Update on North Shore Regional 911 Transition

Boxford officials this week highlighted a coming transition to the North Shore Regional 911 dispatch system, directing residents to the town website for details, while the Select Board prepares to meet Monday and the public library adds a new online arts class service.

TOWN HALL

The town has posted a new notice flagging Boxford's transition to the North Shore Regional 911 system, according to the town's website. The posting points residents to a fuller explanation on the town site but does not spell out a timeline or cost for the switch. The Select Board is scheduled to meet Monday, Aug. 31, at town hall.

The Boxford Public Library announced that Creativebug, a new online class service, is now available to cardholders, with lessons ranging from fiber arts to digital drawing. The addition joins the library's existing streaming and digital lending options, including Kanopy, Hoopla Digital and the Libby reading app, all accessible with a Boxford library card.
