Assessors approve real estate exemptions, rule on abatement applications

Boxford Assessors approve FY26 real estate exemptions and rule on five abatement applications. Chairman David F. Benson attended virtually and asked Diana Headrick to chair; Jeff Linehan and staff Director of Assessment Kristin Hanlon and Assistant Assessor Stacey Fournier were present.
In executive session, the Board granted Applications #5 and #11 while denying Applications #8, #4, #6, and #7. Benson recused himself from discussion of the final applications and left at 10:40 a.m., leaving Headrick and Linehan to complete the review.
