Boxford Assessors approve two revised property policies and FY27 overlay reserves. The Board of Assessors unanimously set the Fiscal Year 2027 Overlay Allowance at $250,000 after reviewing trends in exemption and abatement amounts, and approved revisions to the Name Change Policy and Town Boundaries Policy addressing ownership changes and accessory dwelling units. Chairman David F.
Benson, Member Diana Headrick, and Member Jeff Linehan also granted three fiscal year 2026 real estate tax abatement applications in executive session and approved four Chapter Land applications for parcels throughout town.
